In a crowd of 2,000 Americans aged 25 and older, 700 have a bachelor's degree or higher. 580 completed some college or earned an associate degree. 540 stopped at high school. And 180 never finished high school at all. The divide is stark — and it determines everything: income, health, zip code, life expectancy.
